So boys and girls, what have we learned from Mr. Moffat today?

All together now... "SPOILERS ARE BAD! DON'T READ THE SPOILERS!"

Hee!

This episode, I don't even know where to begin. It requires a second watch, maybe even a third or fourth. As in the immortal words of [livejournal.com profile] mydeira: So. Much. To process.

Moffat has this way of bringing the creepy, and boy did he ever. I'm not sure I'm ever going to sleep with the lights off again! Not really, but you know what I mean. I think I held my breath for most of the episode because I was on the edge of my seat.

I'm glad I was prepared for the relationship between Ten and Doctor River Song, because I probably would have screamed at the telly otherwise. My poor little Ten/Rose shipper heart was yanked out and stomped on, shattered into itty bitty pieces. But, I got over it because the story was that damned good. Plus, you know, it means Ten isn't going to regenerate for a while -- at least that's what Moffat wants you to believe with all of Doctor Song's comments about how young our Ten looks compared to the Ten she knows.

I love that her diary looks like the TARDIS. And Ten, bless his little heart, wants to read it so badly. ::pets::

I didn't catch any lines referring back to Rose episodes, but like I said, I need to do a re-watch. I believe this would be the first time this season that we didn't have any.

Poor Donna. We all know she's going to be okay (the trailer says so!), but still, DAYUM!!

Does the library exist in that little girl's mind? I know Ten said the security camera was a living being, perhaps she's some how connected to that. And the way her psychologist spoke to her at the end creeped me right out.

Oh yeah, definite re-watch is in order. I have far too many questions that I can't answer right now because I'm not sure if I missed things due to toddler interference or if so many things went unanswered on purpose.

Can it be next Saturday now? Pretty please?

A very great episode. Moffat is like our Ultimate Drew of new fandom :)

My fave bit must've been 'pretty boy'.

Incidentally, do you have any spoilers?

He really is our Ultimate Drew in the Who fandom. I'm glad Rusty picked him to be the show runner when he leaves.

I loved the "Pretty Boy" line too! Hee!

There were a few, but here's one that's most interesting because you have to figure out the red herrings.

I must say that I was a bit disappointed by the episode. I expected better from Moffat after the brilliant "Blink" but I suppose he can't always write stuff as great as "Blink".

I liked the lines about spoilers though! Hee!

The last scene between the little girl and Doctor Moon had a Matrix vibe. I almost expected him to hand a blue pill and a red pill!

Yeah it was very Matrix-like. I'm looking forward to how this plays out.
