Blogging Meme

Because all the cool kids are doing it...

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

I just wanted to say that you've got very nice nickname :) Do you know what does it mean in Polish?

Thanks. I have no idea what it means in Polish, so please enlighten me. I went to Penn State University here in Pennsylvania and that's what the PSU means. Unfortunately, LJ doesn't allow for capitalization, otherwise it would make more sense to everyone. :)

OMG! I just looked it up through a translation program. I'm either a bastard or a scoundrel. Oh my. LOL

Oh - yes, it's one of the meanings, but nowadays this word isn't really offensive (I haven't heard anyone using it like this). Word-for-word (and much nicer) meaning is "dog's brother" ("brat" means "brother" in Polish). It's a kinda pet name for people who like/care about dogs. Many animal rights' associations use this word (for example - this one => http://www.psubraty.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Itemid=61)

Hey there! How about posting about the best book you ever read? Or, if that's too hard to narrow down, how about *one* of your favorites?

Hiya,

How about what was your first scifi related event that you ever attended? Mine was a creation con at the skyline hotel (a.k.a. the Doubletree) back when ST:NG was still on. I think James Dohan was at the first one I was at.

now off to post this meme on my lj...

What are some things you are most passionate about as an individual? (Meaning outside your role at the job, as a mom, wife, etc.)
